Cause I know you've got a lot on your plate
And class after work lately
And I know you never catch any breaks
And I feel the same way
I'm not at my best now, been feeling stressed out
Obsessive compulsive, pulling my hair out in bunches
Just try to breathe slow, make both of your lungs full
I'll follow my heart, to be wherever you are
I could just hold you here forever
Hold you here, I'll never need more
I'll never need more
Cause I know we both have seen better days
But somehow we still made it
And I hope the sun continues to raise
Like the rent that we're paying
I'm not at my best now, been feeling stressed out
I'm late on the payment, one bill from ending up bankrupt
We'll lessen the distance stretched out in between us
I'll follow my heart to be wherever you are
I'm at my worst without you, full of doubt
A heavy shade of blue
I'm at my best with you, I never knew
What I was missing out
Cause you have me all the way
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
Musically this feels more experimental for La Dispute reminding me of their Here, Hear releases. Very atmospheric and easy to lose your self in. Perfect for the next time you’re contemplating your existence. (Also found out the guitarist builds his own pedals and used them on this record; neato!) Mikey
Thanks for helping me get through separating with the first person I had a real relationship with. Manages to be excellent sad pop punk a la The Story So Far except with an actual singer and lyrics that aren’t misogynistic like TSSF and so many bands of that cohort. dirtycommiescum
Recorded on the Grecian isle of Hydra, this is blissed-out psych pop with stacked falsetto harmonies and luscious arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 9, 2023
Two dozen 12-string acoustic improvisations that feel undeniably haunting, like lost transmissions from ancient Appalachia, rediscovered. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 17, 2022
