Hello love, it's really been tough
How'd we ever make it out?
Hello love, I'll pick you back up
How're we gonna make it?
I feel so heavy, yeah I feel overrun
Wondering how you'll love me after all I've done
I swear I'm ready cause I don't wanna hurt anymore
I never believed in anything
Not even myself, heaven or hell
You've always been beside me
Through all of my tears all of these years
I never believed in anything until you
Hello love, it's never been easy
I'm as stubborn as they come
Hello love, whatever you need from me
I'm your only one
When you feel so heavy, when you feel overrun
I'll be by your side when you need someone
I swear I'm ready cause I don't wanna hurt anymore
In your brightest highs, in your darkest lows
I'll be by your side, wherever you go
Through thick and thin, you can count me in
I'll be by your side, until our light no longer glows
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
Musically this feels more experimental for La Dispute reminding me of their Here, Hear releases. Very atmospheric and easy to lose your self in. Perfect for the next time you’re contemplating your existence. (Also found out the guitarist builds his own pedals and used them on this record; neato!) Mikey
Thanks for helping me get through separating with the first person I had a real relationship with. Manages to be excellent sad pop punk a la The Story So Far except with an actual singer and lyrics that aren’t misogynistic like TSSF and so many bands of that cohort. dirtycommiescum
Recorded on the Grecian isle of Hydra, this is blissed-out psych pop with stacked falsetto harmonies and luscious arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 9, 2023
Two dozen 12-string acoustic improvisations that feel undeniably haunting, like lost transmissions from ancient Appalachia, rediscovered. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 17, 2022
