Never again you told yourself last time
Mind over matter I don't matter you don't mind
Never again you said for the third time
I try to quit her, I'm not a quitter I'm just
Positively negative, it helps to know you have regrets
Cause you rearranged the spaces in my head
Is it too late to get away?
Cause it’s not too late for me.
I know I’m breaking down, but now I’m breaking out
I’m catching my breath now
It’s never too late to get away, so let’s get away
Always the same, it never changes anyway
You rearrange your brainwaves every day
Always the same, you can’t change it anyway
You overstayed your welcome, so get away
Positively negative, it helps to know you have regrets
Cause you rearranged the spaces in my head
One word answers and temper tantrums
I’ve pushed you off the edge
No more lessons or second chances
I’ve dragged us to the end

Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74

Musically this feels more experimental for La Dispute reminding me of their Here, Hear releases. Very atmospheric and easy to lose your self in. Perfect for the next time you’re contemplating your existence. (Also found out the guitarist builds his own pedals and used them on this record; neato!) Mikey

Thanks for helping me get through separating with the first person I had a real relationship with. Manages to be excellent sad pop punk a la The Story So Far except with an actual singer and lyrics that aren’t misogynistic like TSSF and so many bands of that cohort. dirtycommiescum
Recorded on the Grecian isle of Hydra, this is blissed-out psych pop with stacked falsetto harmonies and luscious arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 9, 2023
Two dozen 12-string acoustic improvisations that feel undeniably haunting, like lost transmissions from ancient Appalachia, rediscovered. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 17, 2022
